You.Me Design Place Hotel

We booked the breakfast option, and every morning the continental spread was delicious, with fresh coffee, squeezed-to-order juice, and local pastries. The rooms had plenty of space, including closets and other surfaces, and the blackout curtains were almost too effective. The bathroom was roomy, with strong shower pressure, plenty of hot water, a rain shower head, and complimentary soap and lotion. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout, from housekeeping and catering to the front desk. They stored our luggage and even printed tickets for us. The boutique hotel is central but tucked away on a quiet street. We stayed over a long weekend and heard neither street noise nor loud music from the neighboring street.

From outside, it doesn't look like much, but inside it's charming. We expected street noise because our room overlooked the road, yet we didn't hear any traffic. The staff were especially helpful and happy to offer advice when asked. Excellent all around.

The sauna was nice, though it costs extra, and the location is good. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. But I was disappointed by this supposed 4 star Design Hotel: the curtains felt Ikea quality, were off track, and the towels were very thin. There were plastic slippers, dirty carpet in the hallway and elevator, and the rooms were tiny. Breakfast was very basic.

We had a great time and loved our hotel stay. It was very clean, and the staff, especially the breakfast team, were attentive. The location worked perfectly for the port and the Xmas markets.
