B&B San Giorgio

They helped people by giving us a good room and a place to stay, so I’m grateful to this hotel. Thank you 💐

We stayed in one of the three rooms above a cafe/bar, close to the town centre. The owner runs the place, speaks English and was very helpful. Our room and bathroom were spotless. A very nice place to stop before going into Suisse.

The toilet was shared and dirty, and there were yellow, suspicious-looking stains on the wall by the bed. The whole building and room smelled stale, smoky and shut in. We couldn’t air the room out because the windows faced a noisy road, and there was loud, out-of-tune karaoke downstairs until 1 AM. The host greeted us drunk, reeking of alcohol from a distance, and couldn’t speak to me while looking at my face. Instead, he stared at my fiancée as if he’d never seen a woman before. We’d paid for breakfast in advance, but when we went down at 9 AM, the bar connected to the B&B was closed. The owner was apparently asleep drunk. This was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had, and I hope never to sleep somewhere like this again.

Check-in was very flexible, and the location was handy, with parking right in front of the B&B. Our room was clean and warm, the staff were super friendly, and it was excellent value for money. Highly recommended if you’re staying in Domodossola or nearby.
