The room looked great, modern and very clean, and that’s what earned the three stars, along with the location. But bed and no breakfast 🫤. There’s no parking close by, so you have to find a spot yourself, which is difficult there. They don’t provide soap or shower gel, not even for washing your hands, so bring your own 🤦🏼♂️

You can walk all around Tropea from this place, so the location is a real plus. The room, though, was unbearably hot in mid-August because the air conditioning barely worked. I had to shower twice each night just to manage to sleep. I contacted the owner several times; she said she couldn’t find a mechanic, and when I asked for a fan, she read the message and didn’t reply. The way this was handled felt very unprofessional. I’d avoid staying here if you can.

B&B Chez Moi hotel had a calm spot near the city center, and the staff made Italy come to mind whenever I think of the country. The room was very clean and had all the facilities, but the Nutellas placed around the hotel were the best part. Tropea is a beautiful old city with lovely people. There’s a legend that Hercules built it. #italy #tropea #sea

The place was clean and right in the center, but the air conditioning didn’t work. It was summer in southern Italy, hot outside and inside, and I couldn’t sleep properly on either of our two nights. The owner basically didn’t care. I’d steer clear during the summer season.
