We left the apartment without staying. From the first minute, the host’s behavior seemed suspicious, and the area didn’t feel safe to us. The photos were completely different from what we found: the rooms were dirty and small, and the bathroom was damaged. We felt unsafe overall, so we went to another hotel. The comments mentioned parking inside the apartment area, but it was just public roadside parking. Stay away.

The rooms were practical and had everything we needed, and the stay was better than expected. It’s only a few minutes on foot from the center, so we didn’t need the car, which matters when things get busy. See you next year!

We had a wonderful week here in July. Francesco was very kind and helpful, and the room was spotless with careful attention to detail. The bed was really comfortable too. Both the sea and town center are an easy walk away. We’ll be back. Thanks, Francesco!

We didn’t check in and left after seeing the room. We’d booked a superior triple through booking.com, including a 90 x 180 cm extra bed, extra seating, and a balcony. What we were shown was a small double room without any of those things. The landlord said Booking.com had automatically downgraded our booking, which wasn’t true. We tried to work it out with him there, but got nowhere, and he kept our payment despite the inaccurate photos and the false explanation.

Finding free street parking in Tropea is very difficult, but it was easy near this property. That alone earns it a 10/10 from me. I’d book here again a thousand times.
