Villa Paola

We stopped by for aperitivo and had a fantastic experience, with tasty local products and cocktails made by the villa's waiter, who was also the mixologist. The reception was very friendly, and the sunset view made this a wonderfully romantic spot in Tropea. It's a bit pricey, but for the setting, it was totally worth it.

Villa Paola has an extraordinary natural beauty, and staying here would fulfill your needs. The food is a different concept, while still offering the traditions of Italy. Try one of the tasting menu options, you won't regret it. The whole team made the visit special, from the front desk to the chef, including Mari, Francesco, and Silvia at the restaurants. I'm still not sure how to describe this amazing place!

We were only here for one night on the way to Taormina, and I keep thinking about what a great experience it was. The hotel's close to Tropea but not right in town, with an elegant building and gardens, a fabulous pool, personal service, and super comfortable rooms. The food was exquisite, refined, delicious, and on another level.

We spent a week here at the end of May, and the blossoming garden looked almost like a fairy tale. The hotel exceeded my expectations, though the staff are what made it the best hotel I've stayed at. Everyone was friendly and polite, made us feel welcome, and readily helped with booking a wine tasting or answering our questions. Their excellent service made the experience what it was.
