The location was a real plus, just a few blocks from the famous balcony over the sea, and I’d happily stay here again. Breakfast on the terrace was delicious, especially the zuchini frittata. The place is very clean and well managed, with polite staff who’ll help you with anything in Tropea.

Palazzo Tranfo had such a special feel. We stayed in a superior apartment that looked like a beautiful stone cave, with gorgeous stonework and iron masonry throughout. The details made the space feel creative and inspiring. The company runs several apartments in a few town buildings, all with a warm, family-run atmosphere. Fernando was so friendly and welcoming, and the rest of the staff were just as lovely. We loved starting the day with breakfast on the terrace. I can’t thank them enough for a wonderful stay in Tropea, and would recommend it wholeheartedly.

We had a lovely stay in a historic building right in the city center, with a great location and a nice atmosphere. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the rooms were simple but charming, with high ceilings and clean linens and towels. Our host was kind and helpful, and spoke English quite well. I’d definitely recommend it.
