B&B Vanity

The service was excellent. They were there to check us in at night when we needed a late arrival, which helped a lot, and housekeeping was very efficient. Breakfast had a nice range of options, with snacks and coffee available through the day. They couldn’t offer a late checkout, but kindly kept our luggage until we came back for it. Our room was well equipped, clean, and kept tidy. It had a small balcony with a handy rack for drying beach clothes. The bathroom door was troublesome, though: it wouldn’t always close properly or would lock by itself. Housekeeping helped us temporarily when we asked, but the problem wasn’t fixed. The location is convenient for the center, shops, and restaurants, and Tropea is small. There’s no sea view, and the beach is about a 10-15 minute walk away. The station is also a convenient 10-minute walk if you’re arriving by train.

The staff were nice and helpful, and breakfast had plenty of variety. It was also handy to have drinks and snacks available during the day. The rooms were clean and well kept, in a perfect spot in Tropea’s historic center, near both the beach and train station. I recommend it!

Very clean, with good breakfast and quiet doors and windows. The owner took a lot of interest in the guests. We’d come back. Top, top, top.

A cute place in a fantastic location. Aldo, the owner, may be the kindest and most flexible person in Calabria. ;) Breakfast is freshly made each morning with a good choice of food, and there are complimentary snacks, coffee, and drinks available throughout the day. I can’t recommend it enough.
