The modern room and perfect location were let down by the lack of hospitality. We'd spent three weeks in Italy and had received fantastic hospitality everywhere else, but not here.

A cozy spot near the center. I took off a star because there was no shower curtain.

The new owner has made a 100% improvement to everything. The property is close to the city center, and we got plenty of useful tips about the city, cruises, and the best restaurant near the accommodation.

The balcony was handy for hanging up our swimsuits, and the room itself was clean, quiet, and well organized. It also had air conditioning, a safe, and a small refrigerator. The location made it easy to use all the amenities. The owner was kind and helpful, and sorting everything out through WhatsApp was a real turnaround. When we said goodbye on the last day, she was extremely friendly. I HIGHLY recommend her!

Tropea's main street is a nice spot for the property. The hostess did take an interest in fixing things, but the solutions were ineffective or just temporary patches for the rest of our stay. We were there for two nights. When we arrived, reception showed us the room and everything seemed normal. After a long journey I went to shower, and a sizeable cockroach came out of the shower drain. We took steps to get rid of it. Once we reported it, the hostess disinfected and cleaned the room, and left insecticide in case it came back. At night, the air conditioning unit started dripping and noisily sending ice chunks out of the splitter. We reported that too. They put a shower mat underneath to limit the condensation on the floor, but the noise continued.
