Giardino di Edo

The B&B Giardino di Edo was quiet but conveniently placed near the main attractions, making it easy to explore without giving up rest. The owners welcomed me warmly and were always ready with helpful local suggestions. My room was spotless, carefully kept, and equipped with every comfort. The bed was comfortable, the linens smelled fresh, and the quiet made for a great night’s sleep. The bathroom was spacious and modern, with soft towels and quality toiletries. I can’t say enough good things about this genuine, thoughtfully run stay. I’ll definitely be back.

Everything felt just right, and Giardino di Edo will be our place to stay next time we visit Tropea. The location made it easy to walk to the beaches, main street, restaurants, and historic center’s alleys. Maria and Antonella run the B&B, and they welcomed my boyfriend and me warmly from the first day. Maria’s advice helped us find some of the most beautiful places in Tropea and nearby. Antonella’s homemade desserts were delicious, and her spontaneous way of being made us laugh so many times. The room and services had all the comforts we needed, plus a few pleasant surprises.

Maria and Antonella make you feel like a guest, not a tourist 😉. They were welcoming, lovely, and helpful, with advice and support for a great holiday. We got lots of useful suggestions for dinner, aperitivo, and shopping for local specialties. The rooms are cleaned every day, and they even provide a personal drying rack for beach towels, plus an umbrella in case unexpected rain catches you without one. The rooms are spacious and well furnished, with all the comforts of a hotel. It’s peaceful here, away from the bustle, but just a 10-minute walk from the center. Outside the rooms there’s a lovely partly covered area where you can eat breakfast or relax at any time. There’s also a private parking lot for the B&B. Breakfast was spectacular, with tasty cakes Antonella makes herself and generous portions. Sitting with Antonella and Maria made it even nicer. I was really impressed by B&B

Getting into town takes a pleasant 15-20 minute walk, and the location also makes it easy to drive out without crossing the city. The rooms were fine, and it was handy having parking available.
