I stayed here in the summer of 2016, and the owners were great people who were always helpful. They arranged a couple of tours for me, helped me rent a scooter, and reserved a direct bus from Tropea to Rome. If I ever come back to Itay, I’d love to visit them again. Amazing people.

Michele's Casolare was an unforgettable stay, and I’d go back a hundred times. We were looked after like children, with wonderful hospitality from the owner, who’s a genuine, lovely person. He even contacted producers directly to help us find great local products, including Tropea onions, 'nduja, and capocollo. He also suggested beaches and places to visit away from the crowds, including Michelino Beach and a diving paradise. The location is just outside the bustle of the historic center, but still less than 1 km away on foot for anyone without a car. There was parking, and breakfast was available just like at the bar. I recommend staying here if you’re on holiday in Tropea!
