The first problem was brown stains on the towels. They were replaced, though it took a while. Then ants got into the house, and later we spotted a cockroach running across the bed. Looking around, we found gaps and hiding spots by the bed where these things could stay. After about a ten-minute shower the next morning, water flooded the bathroom right up to the bed. The drain was terrible and there was nothing to keep the water in the bathroom. The blinds were broken too. The lady offered us a discount on a future stay, but there's no chance we'll return to an organisation like this. I hope this helps someone avoid the same first experience.

The rooms were clean and practical, and reception was friendly and attentive. The setting feels like an enchanted garden. It's right in the center, but once you step through the gate it feels like another world, completely silent.

We spent a weekend there with a few friends and loved the place. It really is like a botanical garden, and the tastefully furnished rooms with patios were spotless. Eleonora was incredibly kind, even calling the hairdresser and restaurant for me. She did far more than the usual guest service. I hope we can return soon.

The property is new and only a few minutes' walk from central Tropea, which is a real plus. Beyond that, our stay was negative. The bedroom had no windows, which felt a bit claustrophobic. In August, free parking was virtually impossible to find in the center. To avoid paying €2 an hour, we searched far away and couldn't use the car for the whole stay. Breakfast was another disappointment. At a B&B, I expected more variety, but we were given a bar ticket for a croissant and coffee or cappuccino.

The small ground-floor room was simply furnished and close to both the historic center and the beach. There was paid parking and free parking nearby. The amenities need improvement, and the price felt high for what was provided.
