Residence New Paradise

The pool was well maintained, and there’s a great sea view. Breakfast had a good range of choices, and it’s about a 5 minute drive to Tropea center. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

The terrace, where breakfast is served, and the pool area have an amazing view, and the location is super nice. The rooms themselves are very simple, and this is really just a B&B, not a residence. The listing’s residence label is misleading, as are the original prices shown before discount. For example, we paid €157 instead of the stated regular €478. €157 is what the stay was worth to me, and no more.

We hadn’t meant to book a B&B, but did so by mistake, and it turned out okay. The views are lovely and the accommodation was decent. It’s a nice little camping/B&B. Some things weren’t as good: the bathroom area could have been cleaner than we’d expect at this price, the photos oversell the place a bit, and the kitchen schedule is restrictive. For the price, accommodation, and cleanliness, it gets three stars. The rest of the experience was just fine.

We had a great two night stay on October 5th and 6th. The rooms were clean, modern, and well appointed, and the owners were two of the nicest people I’ve ever met. Breakfast was great. Since we had an early checkout to catch a bus, they even packed breakfast and lunch for us to take along. I’d highly recommend this hotel.
