Duomo Apartment

We stayed in the old town of Tropea, in a nice hotel with a great location. The staff were friendly, and breakfast on the rooftop terrace was good. Rooms were simple, but clean and fine.

The rooms were clean, with fresh towels every day, and the staff were kind. The location was very good, and the view from the breakfast "room" was beautiful.

A great place, and Carmela's breakfast was the best!!!!

I wish I could give this hotel zero stars. On our first night we were put in an annex apartment, where I found blood on the sheets and pillowcases. I ran up to reception, which is about 100 stairs away. A man named Renato said in Italian, which I understand, that it must be those pests. When I asked what pests, he told me not to worry and said he'd come change the bedding. We got no towels or toilet paper during our five-night stay, and reception said they don't provide any. The water in our room didn't work, and neither did the AC. People smoked pot and screamed in the alley all night. The handle came off my door, and I was trapped in my room for an hour while Renado tried to call someone for help. Stay away from this atrocious hotel!
