Sui Generis B&B

The staff are what took this little gem from 4.5* to 5*+, since they did everything they could to make our stay pleasant. We’re 66 and 73, and the walk to town and the beach was a bit difficult for us. Thank you Marianna, Rocco, Domenico, Giovanni, the young bartender, the gentleman who looked after the pool and property, and the housekeeping staff. We loved our stay. You’re doing everything right. We spent 7 nights, and our daughter joined us for 4 in her own room. On arrival, we were treated like friends and our rooms were upgraded so we wouldn’t have to move halfway through, as we’d expected. Both rooms were spacious and spotless, with the best shower system we came across in two months traveling around Italy. The pool was very nice, cleaned daily, just the right temperature in the heat, and had the softest water I’ve ever felt. I swim often and could really feel the difference. Breakfast was fantastic, freshly made with a different selection each day. It was a delightful, truly memorable stay.

The staff made us feel looked after from the moment we arrived, always ready to help. Our room and bathroom were beautifully furnished and felt luxurious. Breakfast had lovely cooked options, plus cereal, cakes, fruit, juice, and coffee. Parking was easy with a car, and the center of Tropea was a short, easy walk away.

Tropea was a dream, and our honeymoon stay there was wonderful. We had the cleanest hotel room I've ever seen, and the grounds were immaculate. Breakfast was delicious every day. The staff were lovely throughout, especially Rocco at reception and Giovanni at breakfast. The hotel also arranged transportation and all the details for the excursions we took around Tropea. I can't think of a negative.

We had a great view and a handy parking spot below the hotel, and the main town was only a short walk away. During our three nights last week, the staff made the stay feel personal and did extra to help. Reception management made sure we had what we needed and suggested a beach and boat trip we really enjoyed. Giovanni was attentive at breakfast, and his scrambled eggs were the best I've ever had. Our family room worked well, and our daughter found the sofa bed very comfortable. The hotel was lovely and well cared for. Highly recommend!
