Appartamento Al Corallone

I booked the flat for 5 nights and still wished I could stay longer. It was beautiful and very comfortable, and the surrounding area was lovely too. Cafes, a bakery, ice cream shops, restaurants, and stores were an easy walk away, so we could enjoy the place by day and night. The service was very good, too. I wouldn't have enjoyed the trip the same way without this apartment!

The room was very clean, the bed comfortable, and the kitchen had everything. Maurizio also made parking easy, sharing a free option within walking distance. The online check-in was simple and systematic, with the necessary documents provided in advance, and Maurizio was there to check us in when we arrived. We came at the beginning of May when all the rooms were available. We’d paid for a room without a balcony, which was already lovely, but Maurizio told us a balcony room was free and checked us into it instead. The balcony faced the sea and the sanctuary, and we enjoyed beautiful sunsets, breakfast, and homemade lunches there. The location is perfect, with the center, the sanctuary, and everything else just steps away. Maurizio is a kind and generous host.

The owners weren’t on site, but they met us when we arrived and stayed readily available for questions. Their recommendations were excellent. Our comfortable room had a kitchen and a wonderful balcony view of the sea and church, and the location was perfect. We also got a complimentary bottle of wine and a tasty local sample of the cippola spread. Just keep in mind the stairs up to the room could be difficult for anyone who struggles with steps, and there’s no elevator. Thanks for a lovely stay in beautiful Tropea!

The apartment at the Pinta was absolutely stunning, and we were comfortable at the Nina too. We were there in early April. The kitchen and amenities were wonderful, and I was pleasantly surprised by the gift basket. Mauricio was very accommodating. One of the highlights of our Italy trip.
