We were especially taken by Giuseppe's kindness. He adds historical and family stories about the restaurant as he takes your order, and we'd definitely go back. It's a small place with only a few tables, but the cooking is imaginative. The familiar Salento dishes stay true to tradition while getting a fresh presentation. Local products come through in contemporary versions that were a treat to eat and stayed with us after dinner. The wine list also stands up to what you'd find at the places people are seeking out these days.

We went for lunch with friends and felt right at home thanks to the owners, who are genuinely kind. The local ingredients make for excellent food, and the upstairs B&B rooms are welcoming and tastefully furnished, though simply done. It's also recommended for dinner. Well done, keep it up!

From the first taste of pettole through to dessert, Easter lunch kept surprising us with one delicious dish after another. The atmosphere was peaceful and felt like home. Giuseppe is a wonderful person, and the service deserves praise too. We'll definitely come back!

The food's refined, with distinctive flavors I won't forget, and Giuseppe's warm welcome made us feel at home. The setting felt almost otherworldly, among centuries-old trees and all that fresh air. Everything was excellent. If you haven't been, go treat yourself to a couple of hours of paradise.
