Adalesia Hotel&Coffee

The room turned out lovely and absolutely spotless, with comfortable beds and a very nice bathroom. The location was ideal, about five minutes on foot from the train station and ten from the Egyptian museum. Breakfast was good too, with an actual coffee bar and a barista making cappuccino and espresso. We had a nice view of the piazza. I was unsure at first because of the tacky posters by the entrance, then she said she'd need to take us outside to a different building, but the room was a pleasant surprise.

Spacious, very clean room, and the staff were so friendly. It's a five minute walk to Porta Nuova station and also five minutes to the direct bus to Torino airport. Breakfast was excellent.

The location was the best part, close to the centre, metro line, and bus stops. Our room was clean, they cleaned it every day, and having a little kitchen was handy. Breakfast had lots of food and juice choices, and the croissants were the best! There were a couple of things that weren't okay, though. We arrived early and asked if breakfast was included, and were told yes. When we paid, they added a charge for it without telling us. They'd only mentioned the city tax as an extra. I also booked through the Booking application to collect points, but the hotel marked the booking as cancelled and I paid in cash, so the app now says I never stayed there. Still, it was an okay hotel overall.

The tram noise was constant, but that's part of staying right in the heart of the city. The Italian people were trying to be very professional 😜, though all the repeated greetings felt like a bit much for someone easygoing like me who doesn't need lots of attention. I was sceptical at first, but it ended up a great choice. Breakfast was included, there was free WiFi, and the room had a cooker and was clean. All in all, excellent 👌
