It's a very old-style hotel. The bathrooms have been renewed, but the rooms feel too dated and could use a freshen-up. It has an Italian-style feel, but parts are falling apart, some cabinets are broken, and the linens are hygienic and dirty.

For €120 for three nights over a weekend, it was definitely worth the money. You get what you'd expect from a three-star hotel: a nice bed, very clean room, a bus to the centre nearby, the Metro about a 10-minute walk away, and a pleasant park close by. The neighbourhood may look a little rough, but it's perfectly fine.

I picked this place for a quick city trip because it looked like a cheap, easy option near the business centre. The free WiFi wasn't fast, though web browsing was fine. The biggest hassle was needing someone to open the door whenever you wanted to get in. A few times I had to knock repeatedly or wait. Some people at reception don't speak English, so you may struggle without Italian or Spanish. A few staff did speak English, but only at night. There was also a group of young people, maybe in their 20s, making a lot of noise, and the smoke alarm went off because someone was smoking in a room.

The room was clean and the people were friendly, but the hotel was noisy and you could hear everything from the other rooms. Breakfast was poor.

Good location and a nice, clean room. The hall was small and poor, and breakfast was basic but okay.
