Fine for a single night, but I wouldn't suggest it for couples or families. The double room had no equipment at all, not even a TV. The shared bathroom was as described, though the tub was broken and the drain wouldn't flush. Smoking is supposedly banned, yet people are smoking there all the time and the cigarette smell never goes away.
The host was so kind and helpful, and the house had everything needed whether you're staying briefly or longer. It's a peaceful area, only 50 meters from the fruit and vegetable market. The white sheets and towels smelled lovely. Turin is a wonderful city, see you next time!
The manager's response to my late check-in request was incredibly rude. He called after I had booked and asked, or really demanded, that I cancel because the time was too late, even though that option was offered on the website I booked through. When I asked why, he said, "there's someone in the other room who doesn't want to be disturbed." I told him I would mention this in a negative review, and he hung up after telling me to write whatever I wanted and "not bother him." I can't say why he treated me like that, but I do know I won't book here again or recommend the property to anyone I know.
For what they charge, it isn't worth it. The washing machine drains into the tub.
