The apartment is beside the river, though the trees along the noisy road almost completely hide it. I was disappointed throughout the stay. I filtered Booking.com for “private bathroom,” but my bathroom was at the other end of the apartment from my bedroom and other guests used it too. I paid for breakfast and found nothing I'd call breakfast except an apple. Light from the hall came straight through my room's frosted glass door whenever someone switched it on. The host also insisted on cash payment.

Lidia was very kind and easy to reach whenever needed. The terrace overlooking the greenery and the Po is one of a kind. The apartment is right in the center, with the rest of Turin easy to reach on foot or by tram. The rooms are spacious, and there's a lovely kitchen with a full fridge for breakfast. It's furnished with care and filled with lots of interesting things from earlier times.

I had agreed on the arrangements with the hosts before arriving, but they still left early and cancelled my booking at midnight. I was left wandering the streets alone. They didn't even apologize, and instead complained about my arrival time, although I'd told the property about it well in advance.

The woman was very kind and shared lots of things she knew about Turin. The place has nice vintage furniture. It's about a 20-minute walk from the city center, with good public transport links. The one problem was the hot water. There were only 90 litres, so I had to finish my shower in cold water. Not nice in winter.
