Bamboo Eco Hostel

I really liked the shared spaces, and there was always coffee and tea for guests. The place has a beautiful, distinctive style. We booked a private room for two with its own bathroom, and we've already stayed twice. It's a great place for a few days in Turin, and we'll definitely come back next time.

The rooms are great for the price. There's no reception on site, but you can email if you have questions. The location is decent, though it's outside the city center and the neighborhood isn't the best. I'd stay again if I came to Turin.

I got in at night, and self check-in was really easy. The hostel feels cozy and welcoming, with lots of cute little details that make it feel homey. The kitchen has tea and coffee and was super clean, just like the rest of the place. I've never seen a hostel this clean. It's amazing.

The hotel's self check-in didn't work, and I was left stranded on the road in an unsafe area. My phone battery was low, so I texted the owner to say I was stuck and ask for the code. Instead of helping, she asked me to “not be aggressive” 😂 Then my phone died. I had to drag my luggage to a cafe, charge it, and get the code. Worst check-in I've had in three years of backpacking. I wouldn't recommend it, especially for a woman traveling solo. My friends at Combo Hostel didn't have these problems, so I'd go there. And don't expect a refund. The owner wouldn't even apologize. Yikes.
