It’s easy to find both the station and hotel again after walking into central Turin, and the location is hard to beat for the price. The rooms were quiet, clean, and quite nice. Breakfast was a solid start to the day, and the shower was superb, with strong pressure and hot water right away. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at so far for value and accessibility.

Don’t be taken in by the advertising photos. This was the rudest, most arrogant, and most dishonest hotel I’ve come across in Europe. The place is badly run down. The air conditioning didn’t work, there were no windows in the room, and the ventilation was so poor it felt unsafe. The balcony joined up with other rooms, and its door was unlocked, which left me worried about security. When I asked for help, the staff were rude, dismissive, and offered no useful fix. They showed no concern for comfort or safety. Management was worse: they wouldn’t acknowledge the problems and tried to make them my fault. The dishonesty, blame shifting, and disregard for guests were unacceptable. It felt like profit mattered more than integrity, safety, or basic hospitality. Every euro I spent here feels wasted. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

The breakfast buffet had plenty to choose from, including sweet and savoury food, fruit, cheese, pastries, and hot and cold drinks. The staff were always helpful and polite, too. Porta Susa railway station is across the road, which is handy for an early or late train. The rooms are spacious and clean, with air conditioning, a safe, medium to large bathrooms, and very comfortable beds. There are lots of nice restaurants, bars, and cafés nearby, while bus and tram stops are less than a minute away. The city centre is around a 15-minute walk. A good hotel whether you’re passing through Turin or staying longer. I’d definitely recommend it.

The staff were helpful when we asked if we could move to a quieter room, maybe one with a seating area. There were ambulance sirens outside throughout our four-day stay, so it was somewhat noisy. The rooms felt cramped and uninviting, though thankfully they were quite clean. A little color in the rooms would improve them a lot.
