I absolutely wouldn’t recommend this place. The reception was unpleasant. We’d never met the woman, and she only communicated by message. She made it very clear that she didn’t like the French. Avoid at all costs.

I stayed for ten days and ended up leaving four days early, with no reimbursement. I couldn’t stand being in the apartment. Renovation work went on the whole time without the host notifying me, as they should have. The house was very dark, the bathroom felt like it was from the 18th century and smelled awful. The microwave and boiler didn’t work, leaving me without heat for two days, and the hairdryer was useless. Drawers were full of junk, hygiene was at zero, and I won’t even say what I found under the bed. I raised these issues and got absurd excuses. I’m used to staying in vacation rentals in Italy, and this one was nothing special despite the host boasting about it to sell it. It was way overpriced apart from the excellent location. I’d asked that the maid not be allowed in, after waiting all day for her the day before as the host had promised, but then I found her inside without my permission. I lost my patience. I’d never experienced anything like it. I don’t mean to take anything away from foreigners, but I think we’re used to different hospitality standards. I’m sorry to write this, as everyone deserves a chance to make ends meet, and I hope the post helps other guests avoid the same experience. I’m also sorry to the host, and hope this feedback can help her improve in her work. She’s new to the field, and nobody’s perfect. Anyway, greetings.

The hosts were super helpful, and the apartment is wonderful for the price. It’s in an amazing spot, just steps from everything. Highly recommended!
