That one star for the service feels like a gift. An employee in casual clothes with no name tag shouted at guests in front of others and treated us like thieves over a bottle of water. I asked him three times to lower his voice, but he kept yelling. He said, “This is not your home.” I asked whether paying to stay made it our home for the duration, and he said yes, then started shouting again. I don't expect a hotel to hire people based on intelligence, but I do expect some hospitality. A four star rating, I guess, earned through rudeness. Completely unacceptable. The Wi-Fi was awful too, disconnecting every 10-15 minutes, so I had to reconnect repeatedly. Avoid it, or pay a lot and risk a similar experience. Your choice.

We had some of our best meals here, at breakfast and on the two evenings we ate in the hotel restaurant. Dinner was later than we're used to, but the food was great and it was only a short walk back to the room. There weren't many nearby restaurants open early, which is normal in Italy. The hotel is a good base in Torino without being deep in the busy part of the city. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Having the parking garage on site put my mind at ease. It had cameras and roomy spaces, though signs did say it was unattended. It was off-street, and I felt good leaving the car there. Our room was comfortable and in generally good shape, with a generous bed and an extra twin for our kiddo. It was a little dated, with some cracked shower porcelain and scuffs and scratches on the doors and walls. We faced the road and I was woken once by a scooter that seemed to have no muffler in the middle of the night. Otherwise, I don't remember traffic noise disturbing my sleep. We'd stay again.

It's a pleasant hotel, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. Still, to me it doesn't really meet four-star standards for room size, facilities, location or breakfast food quality. It's nice enough for a few days in Turin, but a bit far from the center and left feeling in the middle of nowhere. That's why the fourth star feels virtual to me.

We were in town for Galatasaray’s Champions League match. Afterwards we were very thirsty, so we went to the bar and bought a bottle of water each. The room only had sparkling water and, in a double room, just one bottle of still water. That's what passes for “hospitality” here. Then a bald staff member came over and shouted at us, even though we're paying guests. He said things like “This is not your home!” and other absurd things. We rented the room and paid for it. We calmly asked him to lower his voice, but he kept yelling as if we'd committed a crime. How can a so-called four-star hotel publicly humiliate guests over a €2 bottle of water? The arrogance and lack of professionalism were unbelievable. You don't raise your voice at customers who are simply buying water because they're thirsty. Our room number is on record. We're legitimate guests who pay for our room and anything extra we consume. We are not thieves. You do not shout at us. Ever. I've never encountered staff this disgraceful, aggressive and disrespectful elsewhere. I strongly don't recommend the hotel, and this behavior is unacceptable. I'll also file a formal complaint with Galatasaray, and sincerely hope they reconsider working with a hotel that treats guests with such contempt. Utterly shameful.

We chose this hotel for two nights on our Christmas road trip through Italy so we could visit beautiful Torino. The room was clean and comfortable, with a nice shower, TV, plenty of space for our luggage and clothes, and lovely views of the Alps. We had two rooms for our group of four. The location was nice, though nothing special. There's a big supermarket nearby and a metro station across the street. We could have parked next to the hotel, but used the large garage instead. It was well organized, and an elevator made it easy to get from the garage to reception. At check-in, a friendly man at the desk explained how to reach the city center easily. The reception looked luxurious, and we felt welcome right away. Breakfast was just perfect, with lots of choices, friendly staff and a clean, pleasant dining hall. You could also order eggs for an extra charge. We really enjoyed our stay. It was a great hotel, and we'll certainly come back when we visit Torino again.
