Corte San Mattia - Agriturismo in Verona

I can’t comment on the hotel itself, but we had a lovely dinner at the restaurant. The food was excellent, and you can also sample wines from their winery. For a meal with a beautiful view of Verona, I’d book without hesitation. Highly recommend it.

We spent New Year’s Eve there and had a great time. The view toward Verona’s old town was amazing, and both the room and the service were great. Grazie mille to everyone at Corte San Mattia. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

The breakfast was very good, and the view is beautiful. Sleep was another matter. There was a party in and outside the restaurant late into the evening and past midnight, even though it was the middle of the week. We’d booked just two days before and nobody warned us about it. When the party ended, staff spent another hour moving tables and chairs around, and that was nearly as loud. We got very little sleep, and our request to quiet things down so we could rest was met with very little understanding.

The bread alone was so good that we talked about it for weeks. Everything else at Agriturismo San Mattia was just as impressive, from the food and wine to the warm, genuine hospitality and homegrown products. The panoramic view across Verona is breathtaking, and the whole place has a romantic, authentic feel that made the stay memorable. It left us wanting to come back as soon as we can. Lucia at reception also deserves a personal thank you. We had a small problem with our travel plans, and she quickly sorted everything out the way we wanted, with a smile.
