Go to the island of Vulcano, it's an experience. Hike up to the crater, take a boat tour around the island, and visit the black sand beaches. Hang out at King of Fish and enjoy the beach. You might not want to leave.

The trek up to the crater of Vulcano was fantastic. Incredible views of the Aeolian Islands, fumaroles, and colors you don't see everywhere. The ground is dusty, but it's well worth the hike! 🌋✨

The sulfur smell is everywhere as you climb Gran Cratere, and the views are breathtaking. You have to see it 🌋🥾🥾🌄 This was a trek on Vulcano, one of the Aeolian Islands, with Diving Sicily. Vulcano takes its name from Vulcanus or Volcanus, the Roman god of fire, blacksmithing, and volcanoes, whose Greek counterpart is Hephaestus.

The unspoiled nature here is enchanting. A tourist bus tour lets you take in several incredible viewpoints, and you can also hike on foot to the top of the volcano.
