Hotel Cascina Fossata & Residence

The location was okay, with a train station nearby and an easy trip into the center. We also appreciated the supermarket on the ground level and the underground parking. But the toilet hadn’t been cleaned or disinfected. It looked as if someone had just used it and hadn’t flushed properly. I reported it to reception that same day, but no one came to clean it, even though someone did bring a missing towel.

The rooms suited our needs. They weren’t luxurious, but they were clean and had practical furnishings, including a coat stand, hanging space, a desk, and a refrigerator. Breakfast was good and had options. It’s a little farther from the city center than many people might like, but we were happy to walk.

The neighborhood didn’t feel especially pleasant or quiet, and a couple of things at the hotel were frustrating. We were first assigned a room different from the one we’d booked. It was changed later, but we had to pay extra and weren’t given a clear explanation. The EV charger is awkward too: there’s only one card, so nobody else can charge while a guest is using it. The blonde woman at reception seemed impatient and wasn’t very polite, as if she wanted to finish every conversation quickly. The stay was average, with some good and some disappointing parts.

Whenever I visit Turin, this is my favorite place to stay. Hotel Cascina Fossata & Residence has such helpful, friendly, professional staff. I also really appreciate how close it is to Fossata-Rebaudengo station, with trains to Turin Airport every hour. Thanks so much!
