Hotel Continental

A few metro stops from the main railway station, or about a 25-minute walk. My room was spacious, though a little tired. For this kind of hotel, it was about what I expected: clean sheets and room, and a comfortable stay.

The room was okay for a three-star hotel, but I could hear neighbors making noise early in the morning. Breakfast was good, with fresh croissants among other things. The metro M1 is super close.

Hotel Continental was the best part of the worst two weeks of my life. My child had a traumatic skiing accident and was airlifted to CTO in Turin. Everyone here was incredibly kind, especially Franco, who made sure I knew where I was going and always checked on me when he saw me. It’s a great location. For the hospital, take the metro from porta susa or porta nuova to Carducci, use the ospedale exit, and the hotel is three minutes around the corner. I only saw the hospital and local supermarkets, so I can’t comment on the attractions. The rooms aren’t fancy, but they’re clean and well maintained. Junior rooms are very spacious, the beds are comfortable, and my room had extra pillows and a blanket. The shower pressure was top notch. The cleaning staff were magnificent too. I kept the do not disturb sign up all morning because of hospital calls, but when I came back in the evening, they’d often managed to service my room during the afternoon. My child will be at CTO for at least a couple of months. It helps to know I’ll choose Hotel Continental as my home base whenever I can.

We had a very pleasant stay. The restaurant was excellent, with top quality food and good value for money by Denmark standards. Breakfast is a must, with excellent quality and options for all tastes, including vegan and biological products. The place was nice and clean, and the staff were discreet and friendly.
