Hotel Urbani

We were only there briefly, but it was a delightful stay. The room was super clean, and the location worked well for both the train station and metro. The staff were very helpful. Next time we're in Torino, we'll stay here again.

Our group had a good stay. The location is very convenient, and while the room was small, it was cozy, as you'd expect in the center. Everyone on staff was kind and professional. Gabriel deserves a special mention: his warm smile made check-in feel like arriving at a friend's place. He helped us rearrange rooms for someone in our group, which made things much easier. Many thanks to him.

I accidentally booked the wrong night and realized it straight away. I called Hotel Urbani immediately, explained politely, and asked if they could offer any reasonable option, such as a refund, partial refund, or voucher for a future stay. They refused everything, even though we hadn't used the room and had contacted them promptly. There was no flexibility or empathy, just a firm no-refund policy. Other hotels we've dealt with in Italy have shown some understanding in similar situations. Hotel Urbani left me with the impression that profit matters more than customer care. This was a very negative experience, and we won't book here again. Be cautious when booking, because if something goes wrong, even through an honest mistake, don't expect support.

The beds were the main disappointment: they're only 80 cm wide, although Booking.com describes them as 90 cm, which would've been much more comfortable. Breakfast was also quite poor, with basic industrial frozen cakes and pastries, one kind of tough bread roll, and no proper jam, just sugary syrup. The room itself was clean and tidy, and it was pleasantly quiet at night. The staff were friendly and helpful, and Hotel Urbani is in an excellent spot for exploring the city.
