Fabulous!

The real treat here is eating outside on a summer evening. With the quiet countryside around you, soft lights and crickets in the background, dinner feels special and stays with you. It's the kind of calm that's hard to find these days, and a place I'd happily return to for that as well as the food. This agriturismo sits a little outside the town center in a peaceful spot. The welcome is warm, and the staff are friendly and helpful, there when you need them without hovering. It feels homey and relaxed. The menu sticks to Maremma classics, made simply with local ingredients and honest flavors. Portions are generous, the food is good quality, and the prices feel excellent for what you get.

We only came to eat, and the menu was good. The ingredients tasted high quality, and the food was simple and tasty, just what you'd hope for at a farmhouse. The location is beautiful, with a breathtaking view.

I've been coming to this agriturismo for years. The menu doesn't change: appetizers, first courses, second courses and desserts. They serve meat but no fish, and everything I've had has been delicious and well prepared. The setting is the main attraction for me. It's up on a hill, with a breathtaking view across the gulf from Civitavecchia to Argentario. At night you can hear lots of wild animals calling, and at this time of year, late September, the crickets put on a concert.
