MURANO Suites - Venezia

I was impressed by how thoughtful and helpful Murano Suites were when they helped me contact another local business. Their service and professionalism seem to carry through to the way they host, and I'd love to stay with them on a future Venice trip.

The owners were gracious and quick to answer questions. The property is close to the vaporetto stop and just steps from the food coop, so cooking in the fully equipped kitchen and getting to Venice or the airport were both easy. They also run the restaurant right outside the front door, with great food and canal-side alfresco dining. A lovely way to escape the Venice crowds, with modern amenities that still keep their Italian charm.

The view over the heart of Murano from our stunning room was priceless. Service was right on point, and they gave us helpful answers to all our questions.

Elodie deserves credit for personally making sure our needs were handled during a difficult time with the pandemic, and when the hot water went out on a Sunday, it was fixed immediately. We enjoyed our stay in a really nice unit, Rubina. Just be aware that longer stays mean you'll need to replenish things like detergent, dishwasher tablets, rubbish bags, and toilet paper. Luggage or storage costs extra, and the place is set up for short-term rentals. Some surfaces are less durable too: the kitchen countertops weren't sealed or lacquered and absorbed stains. As usual, keep your third-party insurance handy, and check with the staff before using cleaning or chemical products.
