I paid a good price for a clean room, and there’s free street parking. Bus n.6 gets you to Venice in 20 mints. A nice place for families on a budget, I’d recommend it.

There was a big bed, aircon and a spacious ensuite, and my room was really comfortable. A personal little fridge had fruit and an ice-cold bottle of water waiting for me, which was a lovely touch. The owner was charming, polite and chatty, and I enjoyed getting to know him. One of the best places I’ve ever stayed.

It was reasonably priced and a good place to stay. The room did smell of smoke, though, and wasn’t the cleanest.

They cancelled my reservation days in advance without giving any reason or refund. There was no communication and no commitment.
