Casa Cosmo Lodging House

We were on the top floor and had a delightful stay. The room was clean, the facilities were good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is excellent for seeing the sights. Breakfast is more like snacks, but it does the job. I’d recommend it 100%. One thing to know: all the rooms are upstairs and there’s no lift, so look elsewhere if stairs are difficult for you.

We found the reception service very good, and the hotel is easy to reach from the vaporetto stop on the left, or even easier with Google Maps. The rooms were clean and the bathroom was large. San Markos square and the Rialto bridge are at most five minutes away. Head left as you leave the hotel and there’s a canal with gondolas 10 meters away. There’s also a nice restaurant opposite, Sempione, that’s worth a visit. I recommend it for couples and families.

The hosts were friendly and shared useful advice, and the cosy rooms had all the amenities. It’s a brilliant place, not far from San Marco or the Rialto bridge. If I return to Venice, Casa Cosmo would be my first choice.

It’s a nice place right in the center, between the Rialto bridge and San Marco square. I liked staying here. Just keep in mind it isn’t a 5* hotel.
