We found the owner’s suggestions for places to eat, have a drink, and visit really helpful. There’s also a supermarket and a pastry shop just two minutes away. The duplex is warm and welcoming, with a bedroom and living space. Its location is excellent, almost across from the Arsenale waterfront and easy to reach with luggage. Though it’s in a residential neighborhood, San Marco is just a short walk away, and we could reach the sights and restaurants on foot even with small children.

Tommaso made us feel right at home. He was professional and clearly passionate about his work, and his helpful, welcoming manner opened the door to all kinds of experiences like a true Venetian. The apartment is thoughtfully designed and steeped in classic Venice. We had a fantastic stay and will be back.

The place is cozy, comfortable, and practical, with everything you might want to see in Venice nearby. I highly recommend taking a tour with the owner, who is also a tour guide. You can clearly see how much he loves guiding and loves his country, and he showed us Venice from a different perspective. The gondoliers who are "famous all over the world," on the other hand, seemed to me to do the job without any art or real skill. It's probably something to do just for social convention, not for the culture. Thanks again to Tommaso (owner) for being so available and eager to help.

Tommi Galluppy was attentive, friendly, and quick to reply from the start. He met us at the vaporetto stop, walked us to the apartment, showed us around, and gave us lots of useful information. He also offered to store our luggage. The apartment has everything we needed, and whenever we needed anything, Tommi sorted it out right away. Upstairs there's a comfortable bed, a full bathroom, and plenty of space. Downstairs, with only five steps between the floors, there's a dining table and the kitchen utensils we needed. The dining area is a little narrow, as we'd already seen mentioned in other reviews. The location and surroundings are perfect, with a vaporetto stop and restaurants close by, and St. Mark's Square within reach. Everything worked out really well. If we come back to Venice, we'd definitely stay here again. Thanks, Tommi.
