La Terrazza

The apartment feels like a proper home, with an eat-in kitchen, double bedroom, roomy bathroom with a nice shower, and a living room with TV and a double sofa bed. It was clean and comfortable, with a washing machine, small oven, large fridge, good lighting, well-kept shutters, and simple, pretty curtains. The owners were especially kind and helpful, and I’d give them full marks for that. The real highlight, though, is the wonderful terrace in the center of Tuscania, with beautiful panoramic views, evergreen plants, flowers, a fireplace, two small tables, sturdy comfortable wooden chairs, and two deckchairs. One small difficulty for older guests: the first two steps down to the terrace are a little awkward, so you need to watch your footing. Still, my rating is 9, full marks.
