Ricardo made check-in and check-out easy, and even let us bring our bikes into the apartment, which was great. My cousin and I had a pleasant stay. Everything worked, the room temperature was great, and the place was clean with good space. It’s not a long walk into the city. Thanks, Ricardo, and have a nice stay.

I still have no idea whether the sweatshirt is at the apartment or somewhere else. The other person traveling with me thought he might have left it there, so he contacted the owner three days after our stay. When I asked twice whether it had been found, once before and once after the insults, the owner replied, “Oh, you're that bitch who left me a bad review” and “I'll wipe my ass with your shitty sweatshirt.” It was worth around €100 new. On the phone, he repeatedly called me and my mother “a B******,” even though she wasn’t on the trip. He said I’d insulted him first because of my review. This started after I left a 6/10 on a platform. It wasn’t even a negative review, despite what he claimed. When we arrived, the whole apartment was freezing at 12°C. It only reached 17°C the next day, after our stay was over, and no one tried to fix it. We were told, “It'll warm up later anyway.” After the argument, he also tried to get a penalty by reporting me to the platform as a no-show, three days after I’d stayed there. I explained everything to customer service. First he claimed I hadn’t arrived, even though he’d physically given me a written payment receipt. Then he said he’d made a mistake and actually wanted to report me for inappropriate behavior, which I hadn’t shown. I was curious about the positive ratings on the first platform, which had led me to book, so I checked elsewhere online. There I saw a 1/5 on another platform, compared with 8/10 on the first, and many other platforms raised several issues with the apartment. The same complaint came up repeatedly: the owner’s absurd rudeness.

We arrived around 10:45 PM as a group of four, but were back out within half an hour. Luckily, we found somewhere else to stay. The ground-floor apartment we’d been assigned was rented for four, though in my opinion it only worked for two. The other two places to sleep were on a sofa bed that didn’t function like a bed. Maybe it was broken, maybe it was a manufacturing defect, we’ll never know. Either way, sleeping there would have meant feet up and head down on a slope. The place seemed clean, but had a strange, nauseating smell. I called the owner right away to ask for another option. He dismissed me, said nothing else was available, and suggested I ask for a partial refund. His idea was to “get some of your money back, as long as you stop breaking things...” Then a woman arrived with an unpacked sofa bed kit, a bundle of things for two single beds. For a double sofa bed, we were given single-bed linens. Given the property's review-based rating, what we found was completely inconsistent with it. The photos online didn’t match the actual situation, and the whole thing felt unprofessional. This morning the owner called urging me to request a partial refund immediately, saying he wouldn’t grant it otherwise because I’d obviously caused him a financial loss. Adding insult to injury.

We had a bad experience. The owner was rude, unwelcoming, and arrogant. When we pointed out that the fridge was dirty from previous guests and the furniture had dust on it, nothing was done. Instead, he threatened us, saying he didn’t want “trouble,” as if we were people of little importance. The rooms facing the street were also very noisy. I wouldn’t recommend it if you want a peaceful stay.
