Ramandolo

We were shown all the way across the street to the door of our room in the second building, and the welcome from the staff was wonderful. Breakfast had lots of choices, including cake, and was more than enough. There’s secure parking for motorcycles, and the city center is about a ten-minute walk away.

I’d never had this happen before: we waited over 45 minutes at the restaurant and were ignored, so I finally got up and left. Cleaners also came into our room at 8:00 in the morning without knocking!

The restaurant food was delicious, though an English menu would help guests who don’t speak Italian. I stayed one night and really liked how new, stylish, and clean the building and rooms were. It’s also just a five to ten minute walk from the hospital. Nearly all the staff speak English and were helpful, flexible, and polite. They recommended a lovely wine, and I wish I’d written down its name so I could bring some home. I highly recommend the hotel and would book here again if I return to Udine.

The espresso in the morning was strong and tasty, and the staff were super friendly. The hotel and rooms are clean, in a semi-central area. Parking is the one drawback, since the lot is small and you need to be careful when maneuvering. Still, I had a positive stay and would come back on my next visit to Udine.
