Araucaria

The rooms were lovely and clean, and we had a wonderful time during our almost weeklong stay with Mrs. Bruna and her husband. They were both so sweet and helpful. The B&B is close to the beach and all the restaurants.

We've spent two weeks at Bruna and Bruno's Araucaria with friends for the past three years, and it feels a bit like coming home. The lovely porch is full of flowers and plants, Bruno's passion, and gives you space to sit outside without being right on the road. Everything feels well cared for, pleasant, and discreet. It's about a 10-minute walk to the beach, and the B&B is central, just behind the church. Shops and restaurants are convenient, while the traffic and bustle aren't intrusive. Breakfast is plentiful and varied, and Bruna is always happy to accommodate requests. The rooms are comfortable, have all the optional extras, and are cleaned with great care. I honestly can't think of any negatives, except how quickly departure day comes around.

The room was basic but fine for sleeping, and it had air conditioning. Bruna and her husband run the place, and they're both friendly and kind. We enjoyed chatting with them each morning, and they gave us good suggestions for restaurants and beaches around town. Breakfast was decent. When we arrived, they asked about food preferences, allergies, and anything we didn't like. The property is right in the town center, about a 10-minute walk from the beach. Street parking is possible, though in the evenings it's harder to find a space, and you have to watch for parking restrictions. Thanks again for the warm welcome and for your time. Mrs. Bruna and her husband are so welcoming and made our stay a pleasure. The B&B is comfortable, very clean, and reasonably priced. Breakfast was generous and good quality. Recommended for a summer stay in Salento.
