Dimora Sole Del Sud

I've been booking at Dimora for two years, and Maria Antonietta has been just as welcoming each time. The room was peaceful, comfortable, very clean, and had everything we needed. Breakfast was thoughtfully prepared by the hostess.

We've stayed at this B&B more than once and are always glad to come back. The owner is genuinely kind and looks after the rooms and breakfast herself.

The garden table reserved for us gave us a nice place to unwind between outings, and it was handy with small children too. We could pick up food while we waited and eat outside in the evening. The center is about a five-minute walk, up some steps, and a 15-minute drive gets you to some of Salento's best beaches. Maria Antonietta is very kind, thoughtful and courteous, while still giving you plenty of privacy. From the moment we met, she made us feel at home. The room was spacious and spotless, with all the comforts, including a hairdryer and a little fridge stocked with water when we arrived. Breakfast was homemade, with fresh fruit and a different cake each day.

The lady was very kind, and the room was spacious and super clean. Still, the bed felt small to me, the shower was tight, and there were very few toiletries or other room supplies. Breakfast was disappointing, especially for children: no croissants or brioches, just cream-filled pastries that kids often don't like. The homemade cake was good, though not sweet enough for someone with a sweet tooth. The location works well for getting to the sea, but feels out of the way for everything else. For the price, I think there are better choices. At €120, Gallipoli is definitely less expensive, unlike this stay. Too bad.
