Masseria Don Cirillo

A beautiful garden and swimming pool add to the appeal of this lovely Masseria. It’s about 10 min from the sandy coast, but tucked away in the countryside, so it’s easy to get some rest. The sea is absolutely clean and inviting for a swim. The staff are welcoming and kind, and the rooms are beautiful.

We managed three nights here and only wished we could have stayed longer. The team was very friendly and handled the new covid policy with great care. Breakfast was amazing, fresh, and all homemade. Masseria Don Cirillo is a gorgeous place for a holiday, with easy access to the area’s most beautiful beaches. We highly recommend it and can’t wait to return.

My partner and I had planned a week in Puglia, but a family member died and the funeral date meant we couldn’t travel as planned. Every other hotel expressed condolences and refunded us in full despite its cancellation policy. Don Cirillo’s management showed no compassion and refused either a refund or a chance to move our stay to the following week, even though there was plenty of availability. They advertised the room again as soon as they sent the cancellation invoice, which made an already upsetting situation even more disappointing. Without a refund, we can’t afford to go on holiday after the funeral.

I was really frustrated and disappointed by how the management handled things. Other masserias nearby seemed much friendlier and more accommodating. I wish I’d never booked.
