Villa Urania

That pool was a lifesaver with the kids. After a day at the stunning Salento beaches, they were keen to jump in and use up the rest of their energy. The apartment was a bit tight for four, but comfortable, practical, and very clean. The owners were around and easy to reach, and guests can use the bicycles to ride the lovely coastal path nearby. Villa Urania is well placed for the Ionian beaches, and the photos don't capture how beautiful it is. It felt like a little oasis after hours in the sun. I'd definitely recommend it.

I spent two weeks in the villa and would happily come back. The apartments are air-conditioned, nicely furnished and practical, with an outdoor patio for meals. There’s a pool, free parking, and a peaceful atmosphere. The owners are kind.

The one thing I'd add is mosquito screens on every apartment window and door. With all the lovely plants and greenery around, there were plenty of mosquitoes during our stay. Otherwise, the villa was clean and very comfortable, and its location near the best beaches in Torre San Giovanni is convenient. The small pool and solarium are a real bonus, with amenities for adults and kids. Highly recommended.

The apartment is compact but cozy, and we really appreciated having an outdoor shower. The owners were helpful, and I'd gladly stay again. It's a lovely green setting, about five minutes from the sea, where the shore is rocky.
