Antico Giardino Salentino

The kitchenette could use some work. Its sink is oddly tiny and inconvenient. Aside from that, we had a very positive stay in this charming place in central Ugento, 5 km from Salento’s emerald beaches. The setting is beautiful, and stepping inside feels like entering somewhere full of history and tradition. The rooms were comfortable, air-conditioned, very clean, and everything was well organized. Maurizio and Alessandra deserve special thanks for welcoming us and guiding us throughout the stay. They made us feel at home.

We were there in June, and the garden was extraordinary. The property is enchanting, a real peaceful oasis only a few kilometers from Salento’s best beaches. Maurizio, the manager, is genuinely hospitable, kind, and helpful, and gave us a sense of Salento’s warmth. Thanks for all the care and kindness. We highly recommend it and are sure we’ll return to this lovely Salento garden.

This old monastery was such a peaceful place to stay with my two daughters. It was orderly, welcoming, and full of kindness. Maurizio and Alessandra were prompt, courteous, and hospitable, and made our stay unforgettable. The huge garden and impeccable cleanliness were a real gift. It’s away from the chaos but still close to the beautiful Salento coastline. I’d happily come back and highly recommend it.

Their advice on where to go and where to find delicious lunch and dinner was a huge help while I was figuring out my trip. I stayed with them for a week and found everyone fantastic and friendly. My room, the one with the kitchen, was spotless and tidy, with everything I needed to cook comfortably, including a choice of pillows. Parking on the street was easy, and we always found a spot. There are also several parking spaces nearby, though we never needed them. I’ll stay with them again next time I’m in Puglia.
