We stayed in the BARBAROSSA apartment at Palazzo dei Saraceni in Ugento. It’s a lovely place, around 90 square meters, and the historic center is just a short walk away. Bakeries, bars, a tobacconist and groceries are nearby, with larger supermarkets also in the area. The Ionian coast’s beaches and marinas are only a few kilometers away. Mariangela welcomed us and handled the paperwork. She was warm and friendly. Thanks as well to the charming owner, Mr. Lorenzo, who was extremely kind. I’d highly recommend this place for a holiday rental.
