We loved how homey this place felt. There are horses, chickens, peacocks, and family dogs on site, though it’s large enough that you can enjoy the pool and picnic area without running into them. The pool was superb, there were enough loungers for everyone, and breakfast included delicious tarts and homemade bread. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Set in a beautiful spot in the Italian hills, this farmhouse hotel isn’t air conditioned, but the pool is a refreshing break from the heat. I’d happily recommend a stay.

My girlfriend and I went for an evening ride through Umbria’s hills and valleys, and it was a really good experience. We started by saddling the horses, which were well cared for and full of character. Some previous horse experience is advisable. We didn’t stay at the hotel, though it looked very nice. Google Maps can be a bit tricky for finding the right spot, so give yourself extra time to get there.

We only stayed one night, but I was already thinking about coming back soon. The place is tucked away and feels a world apart, yet it’s easy to reach and only about 2.5 hours from Rome. The staff were all lovely and helpful, and the renovated property was spotless and beautiful. Best of all, you can lie in the hammocks near the pool and gaze at the stars. Grazie!

What a great horse riding experience. Our guide was really lovely, and I’d recommend it to anyone who loves horses. It was also nice to see how well cared for they are, they looked healthy and happy.

The calm surroundings made this an overwhelming experience for me.
