Agriturismo Montecorona

We came as a group of about ten friends and stayed from May 14th to 16th, 2025. The abbey setting was lovely, and we all had a great time. Our rooms were roomy, clean, and furnished with well-kept period pieces; the bathrooms were comfortable and spacious too. Breakfast had a good range, and the woman looking after us was so welcoming. We felt it was good value, and I’d happily recommend it.

We were sorry when it was time to go. My husband, Buddy our dog, and I stayed during the week of Ferragosto (August 15th), hoping for somewhere quiet where we could bring him, and we had a wonderful few days. The place is surrounded by greenery and felt just right for recharging. Our rooms were clean and spacious, and the location made it easy to reach lots of lovely places nearby. Mrs. Giuliana, who runs the agriturismo, and Mrs. Valeria, who makes breakfast, were so warm and attentive. They did their best to meet our needs and made us feel at home, always with a smile. We also ate incredibly well at the attached L'Abbazia restaurant. Samanta, the owner, was every bit as lovely. We’d absolutely recommend staying here.

The countryside around it is peaceful, and the location worked really well for trips to Gubbio, Perugia, and other historic towns. We spent two nights here and were given a warm welcome. Breakfast was delicious, served in a friendly, comfortable atmosphere.

We were here for work, and five stars hardly covers how kind Mrs. Giuliana and Mrs. Valeria were. The rooms were spotless, and the location was excellent. We needed to leave early, before breakfast service started, but Mrs. Valeria came in early just to make breakfast for us. A huge thank you to them both. Highly recommended.
