Casa San Gabriel

After travelling around Italy, staying with David & Chrissie in late September was just the break we needed. The weather was lovely, and we could relax by the pool or have a barbeque. They helped make everything easy, with restaurant and winery suggestions, walks in the hills, and tips about parking when visiting nearby towns. There are lots of towns around with good shopping and restaurants, so this part of Umbria is well worth a visit. We had a lovely holiday and hope to return. Thanks to you both for a wonderful break.

The truffle hunt and wine tasting were a lovely part of our trip, and we'd definitely try them again. Casa San Gabriel was quiet and cozy, just right for a relaxing stay in Umbria. Lisa and Lina, the two friendly dogs, kept our dog happily occupied and made the place feel even more like home. Dave and Christina were always ready to help with anything we needed. We'd love to come back.

Chrissie and David made us feel very welcome, and hearing so much about the property's history added a lot to our stay. We were in Umbria for a wedding and spent a lovely time at the La Stalla cottage. It was spotless and cozy, in a calm, relaxing setting. Such a beautiful place.

We had a stressful rental car problem during our stay, and David helped by translating and coordinating with the tow truck driver. That took a lot of pressure off us. Casa San Gabriel itself is peaceful and beautifully kept, and Chrissie and David made us feel at home from the start with their warm welcome and thoughtful hospitality. Their generosity and kindness are what we'll remember most. We hope to return.
