B&B Albornoz

Amazing place, though breakfast was bad.

We found B&B Albornoz in the historic center while visiting beautiful Urbino. It's elegant and welcoming, furnished with good taste, and was impeccably clean. There's free Wi-Fi as well. Breakfast is served at the café next door, where the friendly manager had a broad selection of food. A great idea, and highly recommended.

The owners were courteous, helpful, and available whenever needed. The apartment was cozy, clean, and had all the comforts, including a kitchen, which was priceless. The B&B is in a very convenient spot, just a few hundred meters from the Albornoz Fortress and Raphael's birthplace.

The apartment sits in Urbino's restricted traffic zone (ZTL), so it was very quiet, and one of the city's best views was only a few meters away. Parking, including free parking, was within walking distance. We had a ground-floor room, so our view wasn't the best, though I'm sure the upper floors have wonderful views. There's a small courtyard inside before you enter from the street. We found the listing on hotel booking sites, then contacted the host on WhatsApp using the details on their website. They answered our questions quickly and found a solution. The owner was very kind and helpful, and gave us all the information we needed. Our room fit two adults and two children, with one chair bed and one crib. The bathroom was small but had everything we needed. A kitchenette was tucked inside a cabinet, and there was a coffee machine with complimentary capsules. Breakfast was available at the bar across the street with a voucher.
