We stayed in an authentic Italian village house in the middle of a nature reserve, with views over the hills of Marche. The garden setting, fresh air, wildlife, and hundreds of fireflies at night made the place feel magical. The apartments were very clean, and there was parking on site. Claudia and the lady serving breakfast were friendly and helpful. The place isn't new, but it's very well maintained. It's a lovely base for exploring Urbino, San Marino, and Marche, or simply relaxing and strolling around.

The forest park has plenty of trails nearby, and the spot is far from the valley's scorching heat and humidity. The setting is spectacular, especially the pool looking out over the valley. The newer apartments in the dependance are much better than the main building, where the room cleanliness and decor could use improvement. The restaurant and breakfasts are well below what you'd expect. If you're happy to drive downhill for meals, though, it's a wonderful and completely relaxing retreat.

The staff were friendly, smiling, and available when needed, while still respecting our privacy, which we really appreciated. The property is tucked away in a secluded area that suits anyone looking for quiet and relaxation. There aren't many apartments, so the pool stays calm and feels private. Phone coverage is poor, but it helped us disconnect, and the Wi-Fi worked very well. Our apartment in one of the country houses was well equipped and reasonably clean. We found what we needed to cook, so we shopped and ate at home often. We didn't try breakfast, but I saw the dining room at checkout: it was welcoming and had a good variety of products. One small thing that would make the stay more comfortable would be a bathroom near the pool, so you don't have to go back to the apartment each time. I recommend this place for peace, nature, and simplicity.
