Bed Breakfast Badde Cubas

The room was dark, cramped, and dated, and we were offered leftover pizza that had been handled by groups of children. We were ignored throughout the holiday and felt the owners were continually spying on us. They became aggressive after we raised concerns. As private hosts running accommodation on the side, they seemed clueless about hospitality. Please stay away from Badde Cubas. It felt dangerous, with serious health and safety issues, and I believe the place should be closed. They knew about a fault with the door lock when we arrived but did not fix it. The key snapped because of that, and then they demanded 60 euros. We refused because we felt it was their fault. I explained that my son has mental health disabilities and needs constant supervision to stay safe. We were left without a key and had to stay awake every night for the rest of our holiday to protect him and ourselves. They seemed interested only in money. Their negligence could potentially have led to injury or death, and I found their actions rude, aggressive, and unlawful. The farm animals seemed neglected and were infested with fleas, which kept biting us. They were kept in squalid, dirty conditions. We raised this with the owners, but they did not seem to care. If this were in the UK, I believe they would be prosecuted for neglect or cruelty.

The mountain setting was wonderfully removed from mass tourism, and the rooms, though small, were perfectly formed. Breakfast was superb. Our children didn't want to leave after three days. The dogs July and Biaggio, sweet sheep Sissi, and lovely horses made the stay perfect. The animals' friendliness shows how much love goes into this farm. The hostess is warm, welcoming, and always available when guests need something. We left this beautiful place in tears, and we'll definitely come back. ❤️

We went for lunch with a group of friends and were really pleased with both the food and the atmosphere. Everything was fresh, the staff were friendly and courteous, and the service was very quick. The pets wandering around the estate were a nice extra. We'll definitely return.

Spending time close to nature really recharged me, it felt healing. I loved the owners' kindness and easygoing manner, the farm animals, and the pool. We also had lunch made with local produce and took a horseback riding lesson. We spent a full day and night at the property and I loved it all.
