It has a bit of a camping feel, and the apartments are somewhat dated, but everything was clean and well cared for. The hostess was incredibly kind and helpful, and the lakeside location is ideal for all sorts of activities. From our apartment’s large covered terrace, we had a fantastic view over the lake. Bread rolls can be delivered Tuesday through Saturday. There’s a small playground with swings and a slide, plus a ping-pong table. Our kids especially loved the two rabbits. It’s about a 30-minute walk to the far side of the lake, where there’s a supermarket and bakery. By the water, you’ll also find a public bathing area, pedal boat rentals, and a lovely lawn.

A wonderful stay, and we’d give it full marks. We booked with the owner and had a pleasant welcome from Ms. Gisela. Our top-floor apartment had an absolutely stunning view of the lake and surrounding scenery. There’s plenty of free parking, the lake is a three-minute walk away, and there are great restaurants close by. Across from the campsite, Gretel am See, you’ll find a supermarket, a cool bar, and a restaurant. We could even start lovely hikes through the beautiful landscape right from the house. South Tyrol, indeed! 😊

The circular route around the lake is beautiful, passing through vineyards and apple orchards. There’s a bread delivery service, free entry to the swimming lake, and a separate storage room for bikes. Our apartment was spacious and lovely, with a great view.

We loved the terrace, and the location and view were breathtaking. The landlady was very nice. The apartments aren’t particularly modern, but they’re very clean and have everything you need. Everything was perfect for us. We’ll be back! 😘
